An opportunity awaits for a skilled Special Education Teacher to support students in a therapeutic day program for the 2026-2027 school year. The position involves working with either middle or high school students who thrive in a structured setting focused on both academic and emotional growth. This contract role invites educators with a commitment to meeting the needs of students with diverse learning and behavioral challenges. You'll provide specialized instruction based on individualized education plans and work closely with a team of professionals dedicated to holistic student success.
Key Qualifications:
Valid Special Education teaching certification Prior experience in therapeutic, behavioral, or alternative education settings is highly valued Demonstrated expertise in effective classroom management and behavior intervention Exceptional communication skills with students, staff, and families Talent for fostering positive, supportive relationships within a multidisciplinary environment
Responsibilities Include:
