Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Active California mild/moderate special education teaching credential (required) Experience working with TK through 5th grade students is strongly preferred Demonstrated ability to manage a caseload of approximately 20 students Proficient in developing and implementing IEPs and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams Strong communication skills for engaging with colleagues, parents, and support staff Commitment to creating equitable opportunities and a positive learning environment
Core Responsibilities:
Deliver individualized instruction and support services tailored to students with mild to moderate disabilities Conduct assessments and participate in eligibility, placement, and progress meetings Develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals and objectives in collaboration with families and team members Serve as a resource to general education teachers and staff for best practices in inclusion and modifications/accommodations Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations Participate actively in school-wide initiatives and professional development
