Key Qualifications:
Valid Missouri certification as a Special Education Teacher Experience managing K-12 caseloads, in either self-contained or resource environments Demonstrated ability to develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Strong organizational and communication skills Ability to perform all standard roles and duties required of a Special Education Teacher Positive attitude paired with a strong work ethic and commitment to fostering student growth
Role Responsibilities:
Provide direct instruction and support to students with special needs in accordance with IEP goals Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and support staff to create an inclusive learning atmosphere Maintain accurate and timely records, including progress monitoring and compliance documentation Adapt curriculum and teaching methods to meet individual student needs and promote success Engage in school activities that contribute to a positive, supportive environment Participate in team meetings and ongoing professional development Discover the fulfillment that comes from helping students thrive in their educational journey.
