Category Schools - Special Education Teacher Job Type Contract Step into a key support role at a small, community-focused charter school as an ESE Facilitator for the 2026-2027 academic year. This unique, part-time contract position is perfect for a detail-oriented Special Education professional looking to make a meaningful difference without traditional classroom teaching responsibilities. With a manageable caseload of fewer than six students, you'll focus on IEP development, compliance, and process auditing, helping ensure every student's educational journey meets regulatory and instructional standards.
Key Qualifications:
Certification or eligibility as a Special Education Teacher In-depth knowledge of IEP processes and requirements Previous experience with compliance monitoring and educational auditing Strong organizational and communication skills Ability to work independently for 15-20 hours per week Experience in a charter or similar educational setting preferred Commitment to fostering an inclusive school environmentPrimary Responsibilities:
Develop, update, and track Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Audit educational records and ensure adherence to state and federal special education standards Maintain compliance documentation and facilitate timely paperwork completion Serve as a collaborative liaison among faculty, administration, and parents Monitor caseload progress and report on student outcomes Provide expertise and guidance on ESE regulationsWhat You'll Gain:
