Job Description

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. This full-time role is designed for dedicated Special Education Teachers eager to make a meaningful difference in either an elementary or high school setting. As part of a vibrant educational community, you'll work with manageable caseloads, ensuring every student receives focused attention and support. Opportunities are available for two talented professionals — one to guide elementary students in a resource room environment for grades 4 and 5, and another to support high schoolers in a Special Education ELA classroom featuring a blend of pull-out instruction and co-teaching. Both roles are based at single sites, allowing you to create consistent, lasting relationships with students and staff.
Qualifications:
Valid Special Education teaching license for Missouri (MO SPED) Experience working in K-12 special education environments, ideally with resource rooms or co-teaching models Strong communication and collaboration skills for partnering with general educators, administrators, and families Ability to develop and implement IEPs and manage a classroom designed for exceptional learners Genuine passion for inclusion, advocacy, and differentiated instruction
Responsibilities:
