Job Description:
Roseville Area Schools has a vacancy for a Special Education ASD Teacher at Edgerton Elementary School. This is a 1.0 FTE position in our Federal Setting 3 ASD classroom starting August 24, 2026. The licensed Special Education Teacher develops and provides specialized instruction aligned to the state standards to meet the unique needs of students with disabilities; evaluates and assesses student progress against instructional objectives; follows state-mandated due process procedures and functions as IEP Manager to assigned students; collaborates with service providers and other staff; communicates regularly with parents/guardians; schedules students and paraprofessionals; and supervises paraprofessionals.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) that align with student goals. Provide direct instruction in core academic areas while integrating social-emotional learning strategies. Employ evidence-based behavioral interventions and maintain a structured classroom environment. Collect and analyze data to monitor student progress and adjust interventions accordingly. Collaborate with special education staff, counselors, and families to support students' academic and emotional growth. Facilitate crisis prevention and intervention techniques, as necessary. Maintain clear and professional communication with families and related service providers.

Principal Qualifications:
Minnesota Special Education licensure required; Special Education ASD licensure preferred. Experience case managing students. Commitment to an equitable and inclusive education experience. Demonstrated understanding of cultural competence.
Compensation:
Minimum full year, full time starting salary is $53,085, plus a district contribution towards insurance.
