Job Description

Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Blazer Jobs is seeking qualified Special Education Teachers (SPED) for a full-time, school-based position in Evans, Georgia for the 2026-2027 school year . This is an on-site role supporting students with diverse learning needs in a collaborative educational environment. The ideal candidate will have experience delivering specialized instruction, supporting student growth, and working closely with school teams to ensure successful implementation of individualized learning plans.

2026-2027 Role Responsibilities As a Special Education Teacher , you will provide individualized instruction to students with a variety of learning needs. Responsibilities include developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) , adapting curriculum, and using evidence-based strategies to support academic and behavioral success. You will collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and families to ensure students receive comprehensive support. Strong classroom management, organization, and documentation skills are essential in maintaining compliance and fostering a positive learning environment. Key Requirements Active Georgia Special Education Licensure/Certification (verification required at submission) Experience working in school-based special education settings preferred Strong collaboration and classroom management skills Ability to work full-time on-site Travel Opportunities Travel contracts are available for non-local candidates looking to expand their experience while receiving additional support and benefits.
