Category Schools - Special Education Teacher Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding opportunity to empower middle school students as a Special Education Resource Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. Based in a vibrant school community near Union, SC, this full-time, school-based contract role is perfect for a dedicated professional eager to make a direct impact on student success. In this capacity, you'll deliver targeted instruction and support in both push-in and pull-out resource settings. Your expertise will guide students through reading, math, and other core academic content, helping them achieve their fullest potential. You'll collaborate closely with general education teachers and fellow special education professionals, fostering an inclusive and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide resource support in reading, math, and core content areas Develop and implement individualized learning plans aligned with IEP goals Support student integration in general education classrooms through co-teaching and consultation Track and monitor progress, maintaining detailed and confidential records Participate actively in IEP meetings and assist with compliance documentation Engage collaboratively with educators and families to optimize student outcomes
Desired Qualifications:
