What you'll do You will monitor all fleet vehicles and equipment to ensure compliance with regulations and safety standards. You will evaluate equipment for condition and risk factors according to state and Federal DOT requirements, as well as internal operating procedures and processes. You will provide continuous oversight for asset accountability and ongoing process improvement initiatives. You will assign trucks to employees and maintain equipment distribution lists, along with fuel cards. You will conduct periodic vehicle and equipment inspections across the Lambert's footprint, including 30-50% travel to field locations. You will manage physical assets (e.g., machinery, vehicles, equipment, supplies). Evaluates, obtains and allocates physical asset resources, maximizes their use and projects future asset needs. You will manage and establish working relationships with vendors and corporate representatives (e.g., suppliers, consultants, contractors) You will act as the point of contact on all vehicle violations and toll queries within the assigned area, and collaborate with Fleet Administrative Assistant on timely payments. You will apply critical thinking skills to understand problems, analyze facts and anticipate results to make decisions based on available information and meet deadlines. You will operate company vehicles in a safe manner and maintain a professional appearance. You will perform other duties as assigned. What you'll need You will have One (1) or more years of experience in automotive fleet services, logistics or related experience required. You will have experience with vehicle repair and maintenance, collision repair and systems/components design preferred. You have a valid State CDL Class A driver's license (cannot be considered Provisional), including an MVR record that is deemed acceptable by the company. You must be able to pass pre-employment drug requirements and background check. You are proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel and Google Suite with the ability to learn new systems and software related to the role. You have the ability to travel 30-50% of the time, locally or within the assigned region. You have strong Interpersonal skills and ability to interact and work with staff at all levels.
