Specialist, Posting -
Fulton County Revenue Cycle SUMMARY:
To receive, review, and post all remittance advices and insurance checks in an accurate and timely manner. Processing of payments includes but is not limited to knowledge of all contracts, posting payments and contractual adjustments, contacting carriers regarding variances, balancing batches, and coordinating daily cash balancing with hospital cashier.
BAXTER HEALTH COMPLIANCE RESPONSIBILITIES
Understands and adheres to Baxter Health standards as they appear in Healthstream Policy Manager. Required to work with the Billing Posting Manager regularly to carryout, initiate and/or implement best practices for the Baxter Health PFS Department.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Experience:
Minimum 3-5 years office experience with an emphasis in Accounting and Contract Management .
Other:
Basic knowledge of PC s with working knowledge of word processing documents and web browser. Ability to use 10-key calculator by touch. Detailed knowledge of all major insurance companies and payment processes. Must possess excellent mathematical skills, organizational values, and time management. Ability to prioritize to meet deadlines and work independently with minimal supervision. Must possess good oral and written communication skills, analytical skills, and strong interpersonal skills. Must comply with and have working knowledge of Federal Regulations.

Work Environment Office setting, within a hospital environment Position Type and Expected Hours of Work This is a position in a hospital setting which is open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
