Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a meaningful role supporting students in a dedicated Special Education district near Albion, MI! We're seeking skilled Speech-Language Pathologists for contract opportunities with the upcoming 2026-2027 academic year. This rewarding position involves working onsite with a diverse K-12 student population, with assignment according to your background and expertise. We offer multiple openings, with flexible placements designed to match your specific experience. As a valued Speech-Language Pathologist, you will join a supportive educational community from August 24, 2026, through June 10, 2027, with commitments up to 40 hours per week.
Qualifications and Experience:
Current, active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license for Michigan Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required Experience within school-based settings preferred Background in K-12 or special education environments is a plus Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams Organized, self-motivated, and passionate about supporting student success
Key Responsibilities:
Evaluate, diagnose, and provide therapeutic services to K-12 students with communication disorders Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educators and families Track progress meticulously, preparing clear and timely documentation for student files and IEP meetings Engage in ongoing consultation with teachers, administrators, and staff to promote a supportive learning environment Participate in professional development, staff meetings, and school events as needed Uphold confidentiality and compliance with all regulatory guidelines Ready to embark on a fulfilling contract that empowers students to reach their full potential?
