Consult w/ parents, gen. ed. classroom teach., + other specialists re. stdt. needs. Screen, assess, Dx, + id. children with various types of comm. disorders to accord w/ procedures outlined in

IDEA + MPSE

+ prep. rel. mat. Dev. IEPs for each child in program in coop. w/ parents + school staff. Maintain accurate records + rprts. for each child in program incl. Dx info., goals + objectives, pupil prog., pertinent conf. info. involving parents + other pros. Prep. + maintain records, rprts., files, + docs. as req. by District + Madera/Mariposa SELPA admin. policies, state + fed. laws and regs. Provide approp. in-service to site staff for assigned children. Coord. + plan work of IAs or other parapros. assigned to prog. Provide Tx in accord w/ needs of selected stdts. of caseload. Uphold confid. guidelines pert. to stdts. + families. Supervise stdt. out-of-classroom activities as dir. to ensure safety. Mon. stdt. achievement thru periodic, ongoing assessment + adjust instruction in resp. to stdt. data. Act as resource for other school personnel and staff in matters rel. to field of Speech Pathology + Audiology. Dev. + dissem. Tx sched. Make approp. ref. for stdts. w/ Dx disorders. Mon. sched. to assure cont. + effective deliv. of srvcs. to part. schools.
