Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students' speech and language development in a vibrant school community near Cascade, CO. This full-time role offers the chance to work closely with a K-8th caseload, collaborating with another dedicated SLP on site to foster student growth and well-being. You'll enjoy a consistent schedule—either 7:15 am to 3:15 pm or 7:45 am to 3:45 pm—across a 37.5-hour workweek, allowing you to connect and make a real difference each day.
Qualifications & Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology (or equivalent) Active state SLP licensure required Experience in school-based SLP settings, preferably with K-8 students Familiarity with IEPs, progress tracking, and collaborative special education teams Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to manage a caseload of 40-60 students effectively
Role Responsibilities:
Assess, diagnose, and provide treatment for students with speech, language, and communication disorders in K-8th grades Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and provide progress updates Collaborate closely with staff, families, and a fellow on-site SLP to ensure cohesive support Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to a positive, inclusive school environment Maintain accurate records and documentation that adhere to district and state requirements
