Qualifications:

Current certification through the Wyoming State Board of Examiners of Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology (To be certified the individual must have at least an associate's degree.) Reports to:

SLP, Building Principal, Director of Special Services Performance Responsibilities:

To aid and support the SLP in the provision of Speech/Language Pathology services Provide direct treatment based on the SLP's treatment plans. Follow the directives of the speech/language pathologist. Document the performance of a student by collecting data and preparing records. Develop and implement materials and activities used within treatment sessions. Assist with clerical tasks. Attend IEP Team & student planning meetings. Assist students in non-instructional areas, such as supervising the student lunch programs, bus duty, playground duty, and other related non-instructional areas. Follow district policies and procedures. Other duties as assigned by the Director of Special Services, the building principal, or superintendent.

Terms of Employment:

Wage and length of contract to be determined by the Board.

Evaluation:

Performance of this job will be evaluated annually in accordance with provisions of the board's policy on evaluation of support personnel.
