Job Description
Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Empower students to find their voice and make a meaningful impact by providing expert speech and language services in a school-based setting. As a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist, you'll conduct comprehensive evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans, and deliver targeted therapy to school-aged children with communication needs. This contract position operates within a dynamic educational environment, offering you opportunities to collaborate with dedicated colleagues and support academic success.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform thorough evaluations of students with speech and language disorders Design and implement customized therapy plans to address each child's unique needs Conduct engaging therapy sessions focusing on speech, language, and communication goals Regularly monitor and meticulously document student progress Collaborate seamlessly with educators, specialists, and other professionals to promote coordinated care Educate and empower families, involving them in their child's therapy journeyQualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution Active (or eligibility for) state licensure in Speech-Language Pathology Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred Experience with pediatric and/or school-aged populations is highly desirable Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to balance working autonomously with the benefits of a collaborative team To qualify for this role, a current, state-approved Speech-Language Pathology license and a Master's degree in the field are required.
