Revere Public Schools is seeking a highly qualified full-time licensed Speech and Language Pathologist. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Conduct Speech and Language evaluations and interpret results Develop recommendations, write IEP goals, and participate in Team meetings Design and implement individual and small group speech and language therapy for students with identified disabilities; monitor progress towards IEP goals and collect data for progress reports Collaborate with school staff around screenings, tiered interventions, and accommodations for students across school settings Provide consultation services to parents/caregivers as neededQualifications:
Must hold Speech Pathology licensure. High level of comfort working in a growth-focused coaching environment based on frequent observations, debriefs, action planning, and progress monitoring Candidates must be flexible and collaborative and have well-established verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to share information and resources as appropriate, including strong written communication skills. Excellent computer/technology skills with the ability to utilize various computer software and app programs Committed to the vision of high expectations for achievement, equal access to high levels of instruction, the achievement of academic and linguistic proficiency for all students, and the closing of the opportunity gap A self-reflective, active learner capable of interactive dialogue with all members of the school community Ability to properly manage confidential information Outstanding interpersonal skills, cultural sensitivity and respect for others with the ability to establish rapport with and relate to students, caregivers, and coworkers with respect, compassion, tact and understanding Strong commitment to equity, inclusion, diversity, and anti-racist practicesPosition Type:
