Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A rewarding opportunity awaits for a Speech-Language Pathologist seeking a contract position to make an impact during the ESY (Extended School Year) summer program near Punxsutawney, PA. This in-person role is designed for professionals who want flexibility, working just one day per week according to your preferred day—choose any Monday through Thursday.
Key Qualifications:
Current licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist Experience providing SLP services in a school setting Comfortable working with students on an IEP (Individualized Education Program) Strong communication skills and collaborative approach Availability during ESY program dates
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver speech therapy to students written into their IEPs for the ESY window Ensure each student receives speech services three times during the program as documented in their IEP Provide direct, in-person therapy from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM on your chosen day Maintain session notes and collaborate with educational team members Support student progress and adjust interventions as needed
Schedule & Setting:
ESY dates: June 8-11, June 15-18, and June 22-25 Onsite, in-person services at the program's location One day per week; schedule is flexible—any Monday through Thursday This contract position offers a unique way to support students while maintaining a balanced summer schedule.
