Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a difference in students' lives while advancing your expertise in a supportive educational environment! An opening is available for an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a full-time contract at a middle school setting, starting in August and running through May. This role offers an opportunity to help students unlock their communication potential and thrive academically and socially.
Key Qualifications:
Active Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) license Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) Previous school-based SLP experience Strong understanding of assessment, intervention, and documentation within the educational setting Bilingual skills are highly valued, but not required Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and engage with diverse student populations Commitment to professional ethics, student confidentiality, and ongoing development
What You'll Do:
Provide diagnostic evaluations, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and implement evidence-based intervention Serve a diverse middle school caseload in a supportive school district Actively partner with educators, families, and other service providers to promote students' growth Monitor and document student progress to ensure compliance with federal and state mandates Facilitate culturally responsive and compassionate communication therapy sessions Foster a positive, inclusive atmosphere conducive to student learning Working in this setting allows you to make a substantial impact while developing lasting professional relationships.
