Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) State license as a Speech-Language Pathologist Experience working with children and adolescents in a school setting

Superintendent/Principal and Child Study Team Supervisor Job Goal:
As per contract relationship
Performance Responsibilities:
1. Diagnoses each student as to the type, if any, of speech disorders through the use of recognized testing instruments. 2. Plans individual programs to remediate problem areas for those students. 3. Establishes clear objectives for all lessons. 4. Completes an end-of-year evaluation on every student who had been a member of the program during the school year. 5. Meets and instructs students at the locations at the times designated. 6. Prepares for all assignments, and shows written evidence of preparation upon request of immediate supervisor. 7. Maintains accurate, complete and correct records, as required by law, district policy and administrative regulation. 8. Assesses progress of students on a regular basis and provides progress reports as required. 9. Attends staff meetings as required. 10. Provides for his/her own professional growth through workshops, conferences, advanced course work, etc. 11. Takes all necessary and reasonable precautions to protect students, equipment, materials 12. Performs such other duties as deemed necessary by the Assistant Principal/CST Supervisor. 13. Perform all other responsibilities and duties as may be assigned by the Superintendent of Schools and/or his/her designees.
