Jobs › Belchertown, MA › Speech Language Pathologist Amergis Speech Language Pathologist Belchertown, MA Apply Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) - School-Based Contract Amergis Educational Staffing is proud to partner with a school district in Belchertown, MA that is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Speech-Language Pathologist to support students on a contractual, in-person basis for the remainder of the 2025-2026 school year . This is an excellent opportunity for an SLP who enjoys collaborative, team-based work and serving a diverse student population.

Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 32.5 hours per week
Pay Rate:
Up to $75.00/hour , based on experience There is potential for Extended School Year (ESY) services and continuation into the 2026-2027 school year if the district is unable to direct hire.
Caseload & Clinical Focus Total Caseload:
57 students Shared with a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) Students include: 5 students who are non-verbal, minimally verbal, or AAC users 4 students who participate in weekly co-treatment sessions with OT/AT , in addition to regular speech services 1 student with a fluency disorder (stuttering) 1 student with childhood apraxia of speech Evaluations & Meetings (Remaining School Year) Approximately 17 evaluations anticipated , including: 3 with signed consents 6 reevaluations 3 evaluations being moved up 5 anticipated referrals Approximately 35 IEP meetings expected (annual reviews and evaluation meetings) Key Responsibilities Provide in-person speech and language therapy services Collaborate closely with OT, AT providers, special education staff, and families Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary planning Co-treat with OT/AT providers as needed Review and sign off on SLPA end-of-year progress reports Complete Medicaid documentation and billing Candidate Requirements & Preferences Active Speech-Language Pathologist license (MA) Experience working with students on the Autism Spectrum Comfort supporting AAC users and collaborating in co-treatment models Strong organizational, documentation, and communication skills Willingness to work fully in-person for the remainder of the school year If you are interested in learning more about this opportunity or would like to discuss whether it may be a good fit, please feel free to reach out with any questions. (781) 657-1832 The Speech-Language Pathologist in the school setting is responsible for performing student evaluations as well as providing and documenting therapy services in accordance with the plan of care developed for each individual student and the physician's orders.
Minimum Requirements:
Active Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Licensure in the state of assignment required Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred and may be required by state/contract.
