Speech-Language Pathologist

Job Overview Autism Connection is launching a new small-group social communication program, Communication Connections -Social Communication Program for school age children (ages 5-10) in Harford County. We are seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to join us in building this unique, structured program from the ground up. Program Model A 90-minute drop off program with small 12-week cohorts that combine: Individualized 1:1 speech therapy Group-based communication and play activities Social Communication Development Parent training/support (twice per month) Speech and language evaluations Maintain detailed documentation of patient evaluations, treatment sessions, progress notes, and discharge summaries in compliance with healthcare regulations. Responsibilities Proven experience working within a school setting Strong knowledge of speech therapy techniques tailored for school age children Provide individualized speech language communication activities for school aged children Facilitate activities that focus on building friendships, conversation skills, peer interaction and social confidence. Collaborate with support staff (assistants). Participate in parent education and support Strong documentation and evaluation skills Familiarity with insurance regulations and compliance regulations Join us as a Speech-Language Pathologist where your expertise will empower individuals to communicate confidently and lead healthier lives.
