Job Description
Butler County Health is a Critical Access Hospital committed to providing high-quality, compassionate care for our rural community. We believe in whole-person health, with all aspects of care. We're currently seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to join our team. As a vital part of our care team, you'll support patients and families across the lifespan by addressing speech, language, voice, fluency, cognition, and swallowing—ultimately improving overall health outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
Meet patients' needs by providing quality care including completing appropriate evaluations, interpreting results, setting attainable and functional goals, planning and implementing treatment for patients with various diagnoses. Opportunities to work with all ages in a variety of settings including acute, swingbed, outpatient, skilled nursing, long term care, and school settings. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, social workers, and other care team members Uphold patient rights and confidentiality at all timesRequired Qualifications :
State of Nebraska SLP licensure. If eligible, should have a certificate of clinical competence, CCC-SLP, from American Speech Language Hearing Association or in process of starting or completing the Clinical Fellowship. Basic Life Support (CPR)Certification Preferred Qualifications:
