In this role, you will evaluate, diagnose, and treat individuals with speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders. Your expertise will support patients across diverse age groups, with a particular focus on pediatrics and early intervention programs. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology, enabling comprehensive patient assessments and tailored therapy plans. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on patients' lives through expert patient care and evidence-based therapy techniques. Duties Conduct thorough assessments of patients' speech, language, voice, fluency, cognition, and swallowing functions using standardized tools and clinical observations. Develop individualized treatment plans that align with patient needs, goals, and developmental stages. Provide evidence-based speech therapy interventions for pediatric populations, including early intervention services. Collaborate closely with families, caregivers, educators, and healthcare professionals to ensure cohesive care strategies. Monitor patient progress regularly and adjust therapy approaches to optimize outcomes. Maintain detailed documentation of evaluations, treatment sessions, progress notes, and discharge summaries in compliance with regulatory standards. Educate patients and their families about communication strategies, exercises, and techniques to support ongoing development. Stay current with advancements in speech-language pathology practices through continuing education and professional development. Adhere to all safety protocols and uphold the highest standards of patient care throughout all interactions. Experience Prior experience working in school settings or pediatric environments is highly desirable. Demonstrated expertise in pediatric speech therapy and early intervention programs. Strong knowledge of physiology related to speech production and swallowing mechanisms. Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to speech-language pathology assessments and treatments. Proven ability to perform comprehensive patient assessments utilizing appropriate tools and techniques. Experience working with diverse populations across different age groups is advantageous. Knowledge of anatomy related to the head, neck, and respiratory systems enhances diagnostic accuracy.
