Job Description

Category Schools - SLPA Job Type Contract Embrace an enriching opportunity to support early learners as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) in a dynamic school environment for the 2026-2027 academic year. This full-time, onsite contract position spans 37.5 hours per week (Monday through Friday), beginning August 24, 2026, and concluding June 17, 2027. Work closely with passionate educators and make a lasting impact on K-1st grade students in a collaborative Early Learning Center, servicing two adjacent buildings for seamless support and engagement.
Desired Qualifications:
Active New Hampshire SLPA licensure required Demonstrated school-based experience as an SLPA Familiarity working with K-1st grade children, particularly in early education settings Ability to deliver effective speech-language therapy services under supervision Adaptable to a multi-building campus setting Commitment to maintaining a positive, supportive learning environment Completion of district fingerprinting administered before start date
Key Responsibilities:
Implement individual and group intervention sessions for K-1st grade students Follow IEP goals designed by supervising SLPs to foster students' communication skills Collaborate with teachers, specialists, and families to maximize progress Document student performance, collecting data for ongoing treatment planning Support prevention and early intervention efforts in collaboration with the Early Learning Center team Participate in ongoing professional development and actively contribute to staff meetings This engaging role offers the opportunity to positively shape early communication skills and development, working with supportive colleagues in a nurturing setting.
