We provide play-centered therapy for children of all ages, with a strong focus on early childhood and creating safe, supportive environments where children can thrive as they are. Position Overview We are seeking a part-time SLPA who is deeply aligned with neurodiversity-affirming values and passionate about working with young children and their families. This role is ideal for someone who values connection over compliance and approaches therapy with curiosity, flexibility, and respect. Role Description Providing quality care and treating children of all ages with fluency, articulation challenges, and other speech disorders Creating unique, individualized treatment plans outlined by Physical Therapist Coordinating patient care with other healthcare professionals Clearly communicating treatment goals, expectations, and the importance of home programs to parents Key Responsibilities Implement speech therapy sessions Use play-based, child-led approaches Support regulation, autonomy, and communication Collaborate with supervising SLP Communicate clearly and compassionately with families Complete session documentation Who You Are Deeply aligned with neurodiversity-affirming practices Understand that behavior is communication Comfortable supporting autistic children without compliance-based strategies Value regulation, autonomy, and authentic communication Love working with toddlers and early childhood populations Warm, grounded, and reflective Open to feedback with curiosity and professionalism Strong communicator with families Qualifications Active California SLPA license Pediatric experience or strong interest in early childhood Commitment to affirming, ethical care Schedule & Compensation Full-Time and Part-Time positions available $30-$38 per hour Why Join Us Supportive, values-driven environment Emphasis on ethical, affirming care Growth and mentorship opportunities Meaningful, relationship-based work Apply Send your resume and a brief statement about your approach to working with neurodivergent children to: Requirements added by the job poster: Speech-Language Pathology Assistant Authorized to work in the
