Job Details Responsibilities:
Responsible for the planning, administering, and directing speech therapy services cardiac, orthopedic, neurologic, vascular, pulmonary and medical-surgical patients Educate patient and family members in recommendations for diet modifications Work with interdisciplinary team for plan of care Knowledge of hospital, Joint Commission, state and federal guidelinesRequirements:
Master's degree in speech-language pathology required. NYS SLP license and registration required Previous hospital experience preferred Ability to communicate clearly and effectively to staff members, management peers, and hospital administration. Prior experience with EPIC preferred Prior experience with Modified Barium Swallow study required BLS Certification through the American Heart Association. Experience with trach/vent population required. Posted Salary Range USD $44.41 - USD $55.55 /Hr. The salary range or rate listed does not include any differential pay or other forms of compensation that may be applicable to this job and it does not include the value of benefits.
