  • SLP•CFY Job Type Contract Speech-Language Pathologist•Clinical Fellow (SLP-CF) 📍 Prince George's County, Maryland | School-Based | Full-Time A supportive school district in Prince George's County, MD is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist Clinical Fellow (SLP-CF) for the upcoming school year.
This is an excellent opportunity to complete your Clinical Fellowship in a collaborative, student-centered environment with strong supervision and mentorship. Position Overview Full-time, Monday-Friday (35-40 hours/week) Onsite role serving PreK-12 students (placement based on need/experience) Structured supervision provided to support CF completion Full school year contract with potential for renewal Caseload Details Caseload of approximately 40-60 students (varies by school/site) Students across a variety of settings including general and special education Mild to moderate communication needs, including: Articulation & phonological disorders Expressive/receptive language delays Social/pragmatic communication deficits Fluency and voice disorders Potential exposure to AAC, autism, and early childhood populations Responsibilities include: Conducting evaluations and re-evaluations Writing and implementing IEP goals Providing direct therapy (individual & small group) Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and families Maintaining documentation and compliance The district's speech-language program supports students from early intervention through high school and focuses on improving communication for academic and social success . Maryland State Requirements (SLP-CF) To work as an SLP Clinical Fellow in Maryland, candidates must: Hold a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Obtain a Limited License through the Maryland Board of Examiners for Audiologists, Hearing Aid Dispensers, Speech-Language Pathologists & Music Therapists prior to starting the Clinical Fellowship Complete a supervised Clinical Fellowship (CF) under a fully licensed SLP Work a minimum of ~30 hours/week for 9 months (or equivalent part-time schedule) to complete CF requirements Ensure at least 80% of work time is in direct client contact during the CF Pass the Praxis (national exam) to obtain full licensure after CF completion Complete required background checks (fingerprinting, etc.) for school employment What We're Looking For Strong interpersonal and organizational skills Passion for working with children and adolescents Ability to collaborate effectively within a school team Commitment to completing Clinical Fellowship requirements Why This Role?
