Job Description

Category Schools - SLP - CFY Job Type Contract Step into a fulfilling contract opportunity supporting young learners as a school-based Speech Language Pathologist. Work with a close-knit caseload of kindergarteners through second graders, with the addition of a few bright third grade students. Your expertise will help empower children to communicate, connect, and thrive at a formative point in their educational journeys.
What Your Background Might Include:
Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology or related field Current eligibility for SLP licensure in Massachusetts Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates welcome, as well as those with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) Prior experience working in school settings or with pediatric populations preferred Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to working with educators, families, and students Enthusiasm for supporting students' speech, language, and social communication goals
What You'll Do:
Provide direct therapy sessions for a designated caseload of K-2 students and a select group of grade 3 students Administer evaluations and develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Track student progress and document outcomes through clear, timely reporting Collaborate closely with classroom teachers, special educators, and parents to promote students' academic success Offer guidance and resources to school staff and families on effective communication strategies Participate in IEP meetings and interdisciplinary team discussions Working with this contract position offers the chance to make an impact in a supportive educational environment, where your skills as an SLP truly change lives.
