As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will play a crucial role in providing tailored therapy solutions to children with autism, focusing on speech and language development. Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments to diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders.
• Develop individualized treatment plans to address speech and language challenges.
• Provide therapy sessions to improve communication skills, articulation, fluency, and voice quality.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, educators, and caregivers to ensure holistic care for patients.
• Maintain detailed records of patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Stay updated on the latest research and techniques in speech-language pathology.

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• State licensure or eligibility for licensure in Georgia.
• ASHA certification is preferred.
• Experience working with pediatric patients in a clinic or school setting.
• Knowledge of anatomy and physiology related to speech and language.
• Familiarity with Individualized Education Plans (IEP) for students with special needs.
• Strong patient care skills and the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
• Experience in acute care or hospital settings is a plus.
