Work across diverse settings - acute inpatient, swing bed/skilled, and outpatient - offering variety and professional challenge. What You'll Do Conduct comprehensive evaluations using standardized assessments, clinical observation, and patient history. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve communication and swallowing function. Provide therapy to enhance speech clarity, fluency, voice quality, expressive/receptive language, and cognitive-communication skills. Treat swallowing disorders and support safe, effective feeding strategies for adult and pediatric patients as appropriate. Educate patients, families, and caregivers on communication techniques, home programs, and safety recommendations. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to deliver coordinated, patient-centered care. Maintain accurate, timely documentation in accordance with hospital, state, and federal standards. What You'll Bring Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field. Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA. Current Washington SLP license or eligibility to obtain. Current BLS certification (or ability to obtain upon hire). Experience in inpatient, acute care, skilled nursing, or outpatient settings preferred. Dysphagia assessment and management experience preferred. Experience in rural healthcare or Critical Access Hospital settings a plus. Strong communication, organization, and interdisciplinary collaboration skills. Why Ocean Beach?
