Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding school-based contract position dedicated to supporting students' communication development. Multiple opportunities are available for skilled Speech-Language Pathologists for the upcoming academic year, with a start date in early September and continuing through mid-June. You will provide comprehensive speech-language services within one school building, collaborating closely with educators and special education teams. Your caseload will include approximately 20-40 students, with a focus on setting 4 students, providing direct intervention and support while working alongside dedicated staff members. The role is ideal for clinicians who are passionate about making a difference within structured educational environments.
Qualifications & Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Minnesota, or the ability to obtain before start date Prior experience within school settings preferred Strong collaboration and organizational skills Ability to provide services across a variety of grade levels and student needs Proficient documentation and progress monitoring skills
Key Responsibilities:
Evaluate, diagnose, and provide therapeutic services for students with speech, language, communication, and social-pragmatic disorders Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) in accordance with district guidelines Partner with teachers, administrators, and families to facilitate student success Maintain accurate records and complete all required documentation in a timely manner Serve as a resource and advocate for speech-language services within the assigned building Immerse yourself in a supportive environment with dedicated staff, continuous professional growth, and the opportunity to positively impact students' lives.
