Job Description
Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding role serving students across a collaborative educational cooperative in the heart of Kansas. As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you'll work flexibly from one of several community-based sites, supporting children's communication needs within a range of school settings.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Current license as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Kansas (KS SLP License required) Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) Experience in a school-based environment preferred; new graduates with strong clinical skills are welcome to apply Ability to handle a varied caseload (from 10-12 students per day up to 50-55 students weekly) Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skillsPrimary Responsibilities:
Deliver direct speech-language therapy services to K-12 students as assigned within the cooperative's schools Develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals Work collaboratively with teachers, families, and support staff to foster student progress Maintain accurate documentation, participate in team meetings, and provide evaluations Travel between assigned cooperative locations (within an approximately one-hour radius of the central office) Offer speech-language expertise to support student learning and functional communication skills Enjoy the flexibility to tailor your schedule with opportunities for both full-time and part-time assignments.
