Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting students across the Las Vegas area as a Speech-Language Pathologist. This contract assignment begins July 29, 2026, and extends through May 21, 2027, offering a full-time schedule serving one or more schools depending on placement. What We're Looking For:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CF considered; CCCs strongly preferred) Active Nevada DOE Certificate Active Nevada SLP license Full-time, on-site availability (no virtual or hybrid placements) Flexibility to work across varying caseloads, age groups, and school assignments within the Las Vegas area Bilingual skills are highly valued
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for a diverse range of speech and language disorders in school-aged children Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in partnership with educators and families Document student progress and maintain compliance with district and state requirements Provide therapy in a supportive, student-focused environment Engage in team meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary school staff to support the whole child Participate in district-coordinated fingerprinting and credentialing processes promptly
