Job Description
Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding opportunity guiding elementary students toward communicative success for the 26/27 school year! This contract role offers the chance to make a meaningful difference while collaborating with educators and families in a supportive environment. You'll work 32 hours per week throughout the academic year, providing high-quality speech-language services and helping young learners develop essential skills that will last a lifetime. Successful candidates will bring strong clinical knowledge alongside compassion and creativity. You'll evaluate students, deliver targeted interventions, support IEP development, and help shape an inclusive learning experience.
Preferred Qualifications & Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Active state licensure or eligibility Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status School-based SLP experience, especially with elementary-aged students, is a plus Proficiency in assessing and implementing intervention plans for speech, language, and communication needs Collaborative spirit for working with teachers, administrators, and familiesKey Responsibilities:
Complete evaluations and re-evaluations for referred students Deliver individualized and group speech-language therapy based on IEP goals Provide clear documentation and progress reporting Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student support planning Consult with teachers to implement classroom strategies that foster communication Support inclusive practices and a welcoming classroom climate This contract position is your chance to expand your expertise, positively impact young learners, and engage in professional growth throughout the 26/27 academic year.
