Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding opportunity this summer as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist providing essential support to students during Extended School Year (ESY) services across multiple educational settings. This onsite position will take place from July 1st through July 30th, with hours set from 8:00 AM to 12:30 PM, serving a diverse caseload of 56 students at various elementary and high school locations.
Qualifications/Experience:
Active Pennsylvania SLP Educator Certification required Proven experience working in a school-based setting, ideally with ESY programming Strong ability to collaborate with educators, families, and support staff Excellent organization, communication, and documentation skills Flexibility and adaptability to work across several sites as part of a multidisciplinary team
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver individualized and group speech and language therapy services in accordance with students' IEP goals Assess student needs, maintain accurate progress records, and provide timely updates to staff and families Consult with teachers, parents, and specialists to support students' academic and social success Travel between assigned sites: West Crawford Elementary, Dunbar Township Elementary, Springfield Elementary, and Connellsville Area High School Uphold compliance with all district, state, and federal guidelines This contract role is perfect for those looking to make an impact in a condensed summer schedule, while working alongside dedicated educational professionals.
