Job Description

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting elementary students as a contracted Speech Language Pathologist for a summer assignment running July 6th through August 14th. This role offers an engaging schedule of 27.5 hours per week, with workdays from 8:15am to 2:15pm, Monday through Friday. Work closely with young learners, helping them communicate more effectively while enjoying the dynamic setting of a school near Holland, NY.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Hold an active New York SLP license Eligible for, or holder of, Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status Prior experience working with school-age or pediatric caseloads preferred Strong collaboration skills to work with teachers, families, and support staff Committed to fostering communication development and academic success
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct speech-language services to students in an elementary caseload Conduct assessments, create and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support student growth Maintain timely and thorough progress documentation Consult regularly with classroom teachers and parents to support student learning
