Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract To Hire Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting students during the Extended School Year (ESY) program from July 7 to August 7. In this contract-to-hire position, you'll collaborate with a dedicated team to provide exceptional speech-language services in a school-based setting near Wood River Junction, RI.
Ideal Experience and Qualifications:
Current Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) Prior experience in a school environment strongly preferred Familiarity with school-based caseloads and IEP processes Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to collaborate with teachers, staff, and families Committed to fostering student growth and communication outcomes
What You'll Do:
Deliver evidence-based assessment and therapy for students with a variety of communication challenges Develop and implement individualized treatment plans Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions Monitor, document, and communicate student progress Support students' communication needs for the duration of ESY services Work closely with school staff to ensure a positive learning environment This contract-to-hire opportunity is ideal for candidates looking for continuity in employment and a chance to create positive outcomes for students over the summer session.
