Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Take your expertise in speech-language pathology to the next level by supporting students with communication needs in a dynamic educational environment. This full-time, school-based contract position focuses on delivering impactful speech-language evaluation, intervention, and consultation services throughout the 2026-2027 academic year. Contribute meaningfully as you empower students to reach their academic and communication goals while working alongside dedicated educators and families.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive speech-language assessments for students with diverse communication profiles. Develop, adjust, and implement individualized therapy plans and IEP goals tailored to student needs. Deliver both direct and consultative speech-language pathology services within school settings. Maintain meticulous records, documentation, and progress monitoring reports to ensure compliance. Engage in IEP meetings, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, teachers, and parents. Offer practical recommendations and expertise to educators, supporting students' classroom success. Track student progress and refine intervention strategies to maximize outcomes.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology. Current Georgia SLP license and/or educator certification in accordance with regulations. American Speech-Language-Hearing Association Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; Clinical Fellows are also encouraged to apply. Prior experience in schools is beneficial, though candidates with strong pediatric backgrounds will be considered. Exceptional communication, organizational, and team collaboration abilities.
