Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Put your expertise to work in a dynamic educational environment serving students across a respected special education cooperative. This flexible contract position offers opportunities throughout several school districts in the region, ideal for talented Speech-Language Pathologists who are ready to make a meaningful impact onsite. Whether you're interested in full-time or part-time hours, you'll enjoy a schedule that can be tailored to suit your availability.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Active Kansas SLP license and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting strongly preferred Comfort working onsite and traveling to assigned schools within an hour of the main campus Knowledge of IEP processes, progress monitoring, and evidence-based treatment for students ages 3-21 Excellent communication and organizational skills
Responsibilities:
Provide direct speech therapy services to caseloads ranging from 10-12 students per day up to 50-55 students per week, depending on assignment Collaborate closely with teachers, staff, and families to support individualized education plans Complete evaluations, document progress, and assist in developing and updating IEPs Participate actively in multidisciplinary team meetings Foster a positive, inclusive environment that supports the growth and success of all students
