Overview New Graduates Apply!! We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist or Speech Language Pathologist Assistant to join our team. This role is essential in providing high-quality speech therapy services to pediatric patients, focusing on early intervention and patient care. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in speech therapy, with a solid understanding of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology. Experience in outpatient settings is highly desirable as you will work closely with children to assess and address their communication needs. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients to identify speech and language disorders. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each child's needs. Provide direct speech therapy services to pediatric patients in both individual and group settings. Collaborate with educators, parents, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care. Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes. Educate families on communication strategies and techniques to support their child's development at home. Maintain accurate documentation of patient assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes in compliance with regulatory standards. Experience Previous experience working with children in a clinical, early intervention or school setting is preferred. Strong knowledge of speech therapy techniques and interventions for pediatric populations. Familiarity with early intervention practices and the ability to assess developmental milestones effectively. Proficient understanding of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and patient assessment methods related to speech-language pathology. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with children and their families.
