Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact working as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist supporting students right on the North Carolina line, just an hour from beautiful regional destinations. Key Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders Valid SLP licensure for school-based practice Strong understanding of assessment tools and therapeutic strategies for school-aged children Experience designing and implementing individualized education programs (IEPs) preferred Excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams Organizational skills to manage documentation, progress notes, and caseload efficiently
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough evaluations and develop comprehensive treatment plans for students with diverse speech and language needs Deliver individual and group therapy sessions, fostering a supportive and inclusive atmosphere Maintain accurate records and participate in IEP meetings to collaborate on student goals and progress Interact closely with teachers, parents, and support staff to create strategies that enhance academic and social development Offer ongoing education and resources for families and team members to ensure student success
