Job Description
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Step into a dynamic role supporting K-12 students as a bilingual SLP or SLPA for the upcoming 26-27 school year. Desired Qualifications:
Valid state licensure as an SLP (CCC preferred) or SLPA with school experience Bilingual English/Spanish proficiency Previous experience working with K-12 student caseloads, preferably in a school setting Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams Familiarity with IEP development, progress monitoring, and delivering therapy aligned with educational goals Commitment to fostering inclusivity and supporting students from diverse linguistic and cultural backgroundsWhat You'll Do:
Evaluate and assess students for speech, language, and communication needs in K-12 school environments Provide direct therapy for students, adapting techniques to meet individual IEP goals and language needs Collaborate with educators and families to ensure comprehensive support and integration of speech-language services Maintain accurate records, document progress, and participate in IEP meetings Advocate for students' needs, delivering culturally responsive services in both individual and group settings Serve as a resource and consultant for staff regarding bilingual language development and intervention strategies Enjoy a role where your bilingual skills and clinical strengths help students thrive academically and socially throughout the school year.
