Job Description
Children's Therapy Place, Inc. is currently recruiting for a Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist in Salmon, Idaho. We are an outpatient pediatric therapy practice with locations in the Treasure Valley and Magic Valley, providing speech, occupational, physical, and mental health services, along with behavioral and developmental support. What you'll do: Provides Speech Therapy services to clients and initiates referrals when appropriate and in accordance with Speech Therapy Department procedures. Evaluates clients to obtain data necessary for treatment planning and implementation. Conducts specialized evaluations as indicated. Develops treatment plans by identifying a problem list, including short and long term goals and methods to achieve identified goals. Coordinates treatment plan for client and provides copies for family and other professionals. Implements and conducts treatment plan as outlined in treatment plan. Monitors client's response to intervention and modifies treatment as indicated to attain goals in accordance with physician orders. Documents results of clients' assessment, treatment, follow-up, and termination of services. Adapts treatment to meet the individual needs of the client. Recommends and obtains appropriate equipment to improve client's communication. Instructs client and family in use of augmentative communication devices. Instructs client and family in appropriate speech-language procedures or home program to allow carry over of therapeutic remediation and goals in daily activities. Participates in client, family, and staff education. Above description is not inclusive of all job duties. What you'll bring: A Master's Degree Certification of Clinical Competency in Speech-Language-Hearing from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. Must be licensed in the state of Idaho. Maintain positive relationships and rapport with coworkers, clients, family members and other facility personnel. Report to work on time and coordinates schedule to achieve maximum productivity and efficiency during assigned work hours. Project a positive and professional image at all times.
