Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a meaningful difference by providing speech-language pathology services to students in an engaging school environment near the North Carolina line. This is an exceptional opportunity for an SLP passionate about fostering communication skills and supporting students in their academic journey. Desired Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders Current state licensure (or eligibility) for Speech-Language Pathology Clinical Certificate of Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong CFYs will also be considered Previous school-based SLP experience desirable, though not required Excellent communication, collaboration, and time management skills Ability to develop individualized education program (IEP) goals and maintain thorough records Adaptability and a student-centered, positive approach
Primary Responsibilities:
Assess students' speech-language, voice, fluency, and communication disorders Develop and implement comprehensive, individualized treatment plans Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams Document progress, maintain IEP compliance, and participate in meetings as needed Deliver both individual and group therapy sessions Provide support and resources to classroom staff for in-class strategies Stay current on best practices and professional standards within school-based SLP Located just an hour from a major city and right on the North Carolina border, this contract role offers a fulfilling professional experience with a scenic lifestyle.
