As a Speech Language Pathologist , you'll play a key role in helping patients regain communication skills, confidence, and independence, while being supported by a team that values your expertise and dedication. Responsibilities Provide speech-language pathology services as ordered by the physician and in accordance with the patient's plan of care. Review referrals, gather background data, and conduct assessments to determine the patient's functional and psychosocial needs. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and modify as necessary based on patient progress. Recommend and assist in acquiring adaptive equipment to enhance patient independence. Communicate and consult with physicians regarding patient progress and any changes in treatment. Supervise home health aides as appropriate per state and federal regulations. Document visits, outcomes, and discharge planning accurately and promptly. Qualifications Master's or Doctoral degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program. Current Speech Language Pathologist license in the state of Massachusetts (or eligible for licensure). Minimum of one (1) year of experience in an acute care setting; home health experience preferred. Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
