Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact supporting students in a school-based setting as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist near Lynn, MA. In this rewarding role, you will play an integral part in helping students reach their fullest communication potential, working closely with both educators and families.
Qualifications and Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Active ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) State licensure (or eligibility) to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Massachusetts Previous experience in a school environment or similar pediatric setting preferred Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills Ability to adapt interventions to diverse student needs and grade levels
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students referred for services Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) based on assessment findings Provide direct therapy services to students individually and in small groups Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and parents to ensure cohesive care and effective strategies Maintain accurate documentation, progress reports, and service logs in accordance with school and state requirements Actively participate in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary team discussions, and professional development Serve as a resource to school staff and parents through training, consultation, and support This contract opportunity offers a vibrant collaborative environment where your expertise can truly make a difference in students' educational journeys.
