Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract An opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide onsite services for the 2026-2027 school year in a school setting located in Como, MS. This contract position is ideal for candidates holding their Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or those completing their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY), who are passionate about supporting students' communication development.
Key Qualifications and Experience:
Valid SLP certification and licensure appropriate for school settings Experience or willingness to work with school-aged children CCC-SLP credential or eligibility, or currently in CFY status Strong assessment and intervention skills tailored to diverse student needs Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
Responsibilities:
Conduct in-person evaluations to identify students' speech and language needs Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and implement targeted therapy sessions Monitor student progress and adjust interventions accordingly Communicate effectively with teachers, parents, and support staff to enhance student outcomes Maintain accurate documentation consistent with school district guidelines and legal requirements This contract role offers the chance to deliver hands-on, impactful therapy within the school environment, contributing to students' academic and social success.
