In this vital role, you will assess, diagnose, and treat individuals with speech, language, and communication disorders. Your expertise will contribute significantly to enhancing the quality of life for patients, particularly within pediatric populations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in speech therapy practices and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care. Duties Conduct comprehensive assessments of speech and language abilities in children. Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient evaluations and needs. Implement evidence-based speech therapy techniques to improve communication skills. Collaborate with educators, parents, and other healthcare professionals to support patient progress. Provide early intervention services to children with speech and language delays. Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes. Educate patients and families about speech disorders and therapeutic strategies. Stay current with advancements in speech-language pathology practices and medical terminology. Experience Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program. Valid CA state licensure or certification as a Speech Language Pathologist. Experience working in school settings or with pediatric populations is preferred. Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology relevant to speech therapy. Demonstrated ability in patient assessment and developing tailored intervention strategies. Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
