Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A rewarding opportunity is available for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide essential services in an educational setting. This contract position is located in Gayville, South Dakota, and focuses on delivering high-quality speech-language therapy to students.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for school-aged children. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's needs. Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to ensure integrated care and progress monitoring. Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with school and district guidelines. Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional insights to support student success. Provide direct therapy services targeting speech, language, and communication disorders within the school environment.
Qualifications:
Valid Speech-Language Pathology License. Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred. Experience working as an SLP in a school setting is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of educational speech pathology practices and IDEA regulations. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, families, and school personnel. Ability to work independently and manage caseload responsibilities efficiently.
