Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding long-term contract opportunity supporting students as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) near the vibrant Gig Harbor area. This .5 FTE position is ideal for a travel professional wanting to experience the Pacific Northwest or a local clinician interested in working a flexible schedule. You'll provide essential speech services to a diverse K-12 caseload as a long-term substitute, working approximately 2.5 days each week from the beginning of the school year through December 2026.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Active Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA required Current SLP license in Washington (or eligibility to obtain) Previous experience in a school-based setting with K-12 students preferred Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills Ability to adapt to new environments and integrate with multidisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities:
Assess students and develop individualized treatment plans targeting speech, language, and communication needs Deliver direct and consultative speech therapy services to K-12 students Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support educational goals Maintain thorough documentation to meet compliance and district requirements Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to team-based student planning Foster an inclusive and supportive learning environment, advocating for students' communication success What's in it for you?
